Tissue Pouches Oh MY!!

Tissue Pouches for Goodwill Baptist Church

Greetings ~
Look at these little beauties!  They are for the Woman's Guild @ Goodwill Baptist Church.  I sure hope the little ladies enjoy.  They are really easy to make:

1.  Pick your fabric

2.  Cut 2 - 7 x 6.5 pieces of fabric

3.  Place them pretty side facing

4.  Sew 3/8  around leaving a 2 inch gap for turning on the longest side

5.  Fold long sides in over lapping just a bit

6.  Sew each end ..Remember to back stitch at the beginning, middle and end.

7.  Turn inside out and insert tissue

8.  There ya go!  the instructions are a little bit rough but let me know if you need more details..just leave a comment

Hidden Valley Ranch Oyster Crackers

Ingredients

    • 3/4 to 1 cup salad oil
    • 1 package ranch dressing mix
    • 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
    • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon dill weed
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 12 -16 ounces oyster crackers

Directions

  1. Mix salad oil and dressing mix together.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir to coat.
  3. Place in a warm oven for 15-20 minutes.

Zipper Bow Tie

It has been since November 2, 2011 since I posted.  My son had a terrible accident on that day and I have been taking care of him since.  Well, I'm back and all is well!  Giving all thanks to God!!

A week ago a co-worker showed me a picture of a bow tie she wanted made of zippers.  I said...humm I think I can do that so here it is...I enjoyed making it so much.  After looking at it......it can be a bow tie or hair bow just depends on the type of clip or elastic that you use! Enjoy and visit again soon.
