2.  Cut 2 - 7 x 6.5 pieces of fabric

3.  Place them pretty side facing

4.  Sew 3/8  around leaving a 2 inch gap for turning on the longest side

5.  Fold long sides in over lapping just a bit

6.  Sew each end ..Remember to back stitch at the beginning, middle and end.

7.  Turn inside out and insert tissue

8.  There ya go!  the instructions are a little bit rough but let me know if you need more details..just leave a comment

Zipper Bow Tie

It has been since November 2, 2011 since I posted.  My son had a terrible accident on that day and I have been taking care of him since.  Well, I'm back and all is well!  Giving all thanks to God!!

A week ago a co-worker showed me a picture of a bow tie she wanted made of zippers.  I said...humm I think I can do that so here it is...I enjoyed making it so much.  After looking at it......it can be a bow tie or hair bow just depends on the type of clip or elastic that you use! Enjoy and visit again soon.

Flannel and Fleece

Greeting Everybody!  It is a GREAT DAY!  I know that it has been a really long time since I blogged!  Sorry about that....had to get a few things straight. I had to consult with my heavenly father about a some things and be sure that I was listening to HIM.  So with all that being said... my blog will be different than before.  I want to be a blessing to others...not just to my family but my friends, strangers and fellow crafters too!
I will be sharing more than just cards..... crafts, canvas, sewing, inspiration & tutorials.  I think I am becoming like my dad and grandfather as they say "A jack of all trade master of none!!! LOL
So, lets get crafty

Flannel and Fleece
I have made several of these little cuties in the past weeks and realized that I never posted one.  This is a baby blanket for my hair stylist.  One day I was sitting under the hair dryer closing up a cutie patootie of a little girls blanket and she said  oooohh I want a boy blanket and as the story goes...one led to another and another.  I also make the burp cloths to match.  So Enjoy and go do great things!
